Diversified Brings Home the 2018 Washington Building Congress Craftsmanship Star Award for Excellence in the Face of Adversity

The Washington Building Congress recognizes Diversified out of more than 600 nominees for excellence in one of the DC metro area’s largest and most challenging projects of 2017

ASHBURN, VA—Diversified, a global technology provider delivering innovative solutions and managed services to today’s leading markets, announces the Washington Building Congress (WBC) has awarded the company the 2018 Craftsmanship Star Award for Excellence in the Face of Adversity for its exceptional workmanship in Broadcast Systems at the United States Capitol, House of Representatives Chamber. Earlier this year, Diversified was honored with a WBC Craftmanship Award for the same project, in which the company’s high marks and exemplary craftsmanship qualified them for the Star Award nomination.

Diversified’s Chairman and CEO, Fred D’Alessandro comments, “We are very proud to receive the Washington Building Congress’s prestigious Star Award. This recognition is a true testament to our team’s dedication to quality results and providing the highest level of service to our customers.”

The Star Award for Excellence in the Face of Adversity recognizes the highest quality work that was done under the most difficult conditions. Those conditions may include schedule, logistics or site constraints, most of which were experienced by Diversified’s delivery team on-site at the Capitol. Having to work around Congress’s schedule and within only a matter of weeks to get the job done, Diversified’s team worked nights and weekends to deliver the turnkey, audio broadcast system.

Since the deployment of the new broadcast system, Diversified continues to provide on-site technical support for mission-critical events including the Presidential State of the Union address. Through the hard work of its devoted team, Diversified has provided the Capitol enhanced functionality and a state-of-the-art solution that will allow them to operate more efficiently for years to come.
