End-To-End Technology Integration Helps Create An Activity-Based Working Environment

The Novartis aspiration of driving collaboration within and across divisions called for associates to be mobile yet able to connect and work easily from anywhere in the new space. Novartis partnered up with Diversified, a full-service provider of integrated audio visual solutions for presentation, collaboration and unified communications solutions.

Diversified worked closely with the project stakeholders (end-user client, builders and architects) to work through the considerations and recommendations needed to achieve this, with the company concluding the activity-based working environment to be the most appropriate solution.

Audio visual services were deployed to the following room types: five enclosed chat rooms, eight enclosed collaboration tables, nine enclosed meeting rooms, a semi-enclosed collaboration area, a brainstorming room, nine open collaboration tables, five enclosed meeting rooms, nine flexible rooms, three combinable meeting rooms, two video conference enabled meeting rooms, one wet lab and one open plan area.

The technologies implemented needed to provide a solution that was integrated from end to end, could be monitored and supported remotely, was simple to use, provided the expected result, every time, and that was flexible and supported an activity-based working environment.

This is a project that showcases a multi-faceted end-to-end audio visual solution, to facilitate a state-of-the-art working environment for Novartis. Moving towards an activity-based working model is a growing trend, and the success of this model relies upon next generation audio visual technology and unified communications solutions.
