IBM X-Force Cyber Tactical Operations Center Wins a 2019 Edison Award

Recognized all over the world for excellence in innovation, IBM’s groundbreaking mobile cyber training center continues to turn heads.

In 2018, Diversified was awarded the opportunity to work with long-time partner IBM once again on their newest initiative—the X-Force Cyber Tactical Operations Center (C-TOC). Since then, the project has done nothing but gain additional popularity and recognition for IBM’s cyber training program and the innovative way the company is bringing it to cyber professionals all over the world. This week, the project received its most recent accolade of being honored with a prestigious Edison Award.

The Edison Awards, originally established in 1987, honor excellence in technological innovation, new product and service development, marketing, and human-centered design. The Edison Awards are sometimes referred to as “The Oscars of Innovation” and are named after Thomas Alva Edison, symbolizing the persistence and excellence in innovation he personified.

Winners were selected as part of a thorough review process conducted by experts in the fields of science, technology, design, engineering and marketing. Congratulations to our friends at IBM and the wonderful team that came together to make the X-Force C-TOC a reality. The Diversified team is honored to have been part of this project and looks forward to the future of our partnership with IBM.
