State of the Industry 2020: Don’t Get TOO Comfortable

Commercial Integrator interviews leaders of the systems integration industry on their approach to 2020.

Commercial Integrator’s Craig McCormick recently published his annual series of articles on the State of the Industry. Although typically these series provide a strong focus on AV integration, the systems integration industry as a whole was considered as we move into the next decade, a decade that is promising to be a new era for technology solutions providers everywhere.

With talks of recession in the coming year, it doesn’t seem as though the leaders of the systems integration industry are particularly concerned. Opportunities are presenting themselves both domestically and abroad, and Diversified sees great potential in helping businesses worldwide implement global standards for workplace collaboration, as well as managed services, to make their operations more efficient.

“We’re really looking to make it easy for clients to purchase those assets and manage them for them,” [says Fred D’Alessandro, founder and CEO of Diversified]. “There’s a big opportunity.”

With a portfolio of solutions true to its name, Diversified has the opportunity to realize such growth across multiple markets and industries. Still, D’Alessandro isn’t the only one with a positive outlook. Many others in the systems integration industry were interviewed as well and all seem to have a similar optimism for continued growth.
